Ex-Navy Seal Plato Smith (Gary Busey) has his hands full with teenage daughter Kathy and a failing fishing business. When old flame Marta offers himbig money to rescue two escaped prisoners off a beach in Cuba , Plato accepts. Under heavy fire , Plato and ex-Seal buddy Sa, Macris (Steven Bauer) manage to rescue the escaped Cuban prisoner , Felix Gomez. But soon Plato is implicated in a murderous web of assassination and deceit, masterminded by a ruthless international arms dealer, Alex Senarkian (Roy Sheider); In an action -packed finale , Plato must face all his deadly foes in a desperate attempt to clear his name and save his daughter.
