When Holly and Calvin , (Melissa Joan Hart & Ryan Browning), a young small-town couple arrive in the Big Apple with dreams of stardom, they realize acquiring a rent controlled apartment - not talent - is the real key to success. Their best option lie;s in Holly;s eccentric Aunt Agatha , owner of 15 cats and the keys to an affordable , upper-westside apartment who has just dropped dead from an overdose of diet pills. desperate to keep the apartment , the couple enlists the aid of a beautiful neighbor (Carmen Electra), to keep Agatha;s death , (and missing body) , a secret by any hilarious means necessary. This boisterous , energetic , light-hearted comedy is a wonderful contemporary Cinderella tale in the tradition of Freaky Friday.
